I can definitely see the benefit to that tool. For the most part, z
has worked perfectly well (and it’s nice that it doesn’t require any manual configuration). But it does start to get a little messy if you have folders with shared names.
I think I’m getting to the point where I might check out fzf-marks
to alleviate some of my navigation pains. I’ve also seen devs just pipe the output of z
into fzf
as another solution.
